The Scene: Milestone 229 “Waterfront Dining & Drink”
This weekend I had the pleasure of dining at Milestone 229 on the waterfront of the Bicentennial Park in downtown Columbus. I had been to the park previously and always wanted to try the restaurant. Milestone 229 is a nice high-end restaurant with nice vibe & ambiance. Their drink selection was packed with top shelf liquor & wine. The food menu was short but everything sounded delicious. Unfortunately, I did not get to enjoy the illustrious view due to the harsh weather conditions Columbus has been experiencing they turned off the fountain & lights. Also you might want to make reservations on your trip they were very packed & check their website for happy hour specials. The service was good nothing bad or extravagant to say. I ordered the cajun steak in whiskey sauce w/ bleu cheese potatoes & green beans. My date ordered shrimp & cheddar grits w/ andouille sausage in a spicy tomato fondu. Its pricey expect to pay between $70-$90 for a full course meal including beverages.
